My operating system in Windows 7. I need to play a video file which is on a DVD. The file has a .re4 extension. The Window Media player won't play it at all. The VLC player will play the first frame then stop. Clicking the 'Play' icon will not advance the video, it only plays the first frame again. Doing a Google search for .re4 players brings up a million Resident Evils hits, even when I try to exclude Resident Evil from the search.

The video is from a closed circuit camera in a jail. It purports to show that my client was involved in a group brawl, which he denies. Seeing the video will decide whether we go to trial or plead. Any suggestions as to what player might play this video would be appreciated.
